Bali based jewellery/accessories designer Lucy Cottee from LJC designs popped into BB HQ last week for a chat and mini photoshoot! Was lovely to have you in the office Luc, read on to find out some fun facts!

How did LJC start out?
A friend liked one of my rings so I had a copy made and sent it home from Bali with a friend. I then started to get emails from her friends and it grew from there.
What does your regular day entail?
Usually a run on the beach followed by a few hours on the computer. My afternoons mostly consist of driving around Bali on the scooter meeting with suppliers. Its nice to wind down on the beach watching the sunset, cocktail in hand!
Favourite place you’ve travelled to?
A little surf town in Portugal called Ericira. It was the most beautiful place I've ever been.
What’s your favourite meal of the day?
Breakfast for sure. Granola and a fresh coconut!
Your fav Aussie designer?
My favourite Aussie labels are Zimmermann, Ksubi, Ellery, Dion Lee… I can't choose!
What did you do before LJC became full time? I worked in magazines at Bauer media.
Your can’t-live-without beauty product?
Probably my lip gloss!
How would you describe your style?
Simple chic with plenty of jewels!
Do you have any advice for someone wanting to start their own business?
Have the courage to make lots of mistakes!
What do you do to keep fit & healthy?
I run on the beach most mornings and drink lots of coconut water!

Live life to express, not to impress.
What music are you listening to at the moment?
I love a bit of Alt-J
